Advisory Board

An October 1999, 10-day visit to El Salvador by eight representatives from PeaceHealth and Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, provided the impetus for this mission. The group interviewed many non-profit health care and governmental organizations.

What they learned was that there were opportunities to be of service; that volunteers would be welcome; and that volunteers would return home with experiences that would enrich their collective sense of the organizational mission.
